SPOTLIGHT INITIATIVE
WMW Jamaica partners with the United Nation’s Spotlight Initiative, which aims to end all forms of violence against women and girls. As implementing partners in this global initiative, our efforts are focused on empowering healthcare service providers, educators and persons who provide care for children with disabilities.
Spotlight Initiative is the world’s largest targeted effort to end all forms of violence against women and girls, placing emphasis on domestic and family violence, sexual and gender-based violence and harmful practices, femicide, trafficking in human beings and sexual and economic (labour) exploitation.
